Bombing execution of Allenby Bridge

Close to 21:00, the warriors left on a truck from Beit-Haarava. The truck stopped near John the Baptist Monastery, 4km away from Allenby Bridge, and the force advanced on foot towards the target. The truck stayed in place and awaited their return. In order to camouflage the truck's presence in that area, the truck driver and Yehudit the paramedic pretended to be a romantic couple tied up by Jewish terrorists who forced them to help them on their way to an attack. A squad of three warriors hid nearby to secure the truck and its passengers. While the force moved towards the bridge, a 'Mistaarvim' (fighters disguised as Arabs) squad arrived at the road leading to Allenby Bridge, barricading it and cutting off the telephone line in the area.
Sometime after 23:00, the force began sneaking up from the deployment area towards the bridge, but was spotted and fired at. While the exchanging of fire went on, the explosives were planted on the bridge. The bridge exploded at 23:15, slightly earlier than the zero hour determined, due to the urgency of completing the placement of explosives and move away from the area under fire.
